Terms and Conditions:

 

All items sell AS IS WHERE IS with no warranty of any type expressed or implied as to the merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose of any goods offered in this sale. All sales are made on an AS IS – WHERE IS basis with all faults. All buyers are urged to physically inspect the item during the inspection period. No bids can be withdrawn after the auction for any reason. BUYER agrees that these terms as well as all other terms set forth below, can be amended or revised only in writing, signed by the auctioneer. BUYER will rely entirely on their own inspection. All information and descriptions contained in advertising this sale is believed correct, but no responsibility is assumed by Rochester Online Auction for any errors or omissions.

 

All participants in an auction must register prior to placing a bid. When you proceed to the registration page, you are required to furnish profile information, including your contact. The contact information will be used to generate your invoice and provide you with important auction/bidding updates. Bidders are responsible for any/all bidding taking place on their account. 2 step verification and notifications are set up to protect your privacy and security.

 

Cash and Credit Cards are accepted – Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express. A credit card. Credit Cards will be charged 3.5% Fee

 

Purchased items MUST be picked up on the assigned pick up-dates. No Shows Will be blocked from future auctions.

 

With prior approval, purchases may be held for a period of no more than 7 days before they are forfeited back to ROA. 

 

Order of sale and bidding increments shall be at the sole discretion of Rochester Online Auction LLC. And Rochester Online Auction LLC may at its sole discretion act to protect the interest of buyers and sellers as an agent by bidding through the auction.

 

BUYER’S PREMIUM: A 10% buyer’s premium will be charged on all items and lots. Every bidder pays the same. For example, if you bid $100 on an item at the auction you will be charged $110 for the item on your auction invoice. Unless stated differently in the auction.

 

Sales Tax: All bidders will be subject to the local sales tax of  7.375%   unless buyer provides Rochester Online Auction with the documentation required for tax exemption. NOTICE: Out-of-state buyers must pay sales tax on all items including titled items.

 

Items are accepted for auction by appointment only. A consignment form MUST be filed with your signature prior to leaving items at ROA. Goods will be cataloged and auctioned on a timeline provided by Rochester Online Auction.
Seller payments will be processed by check 7 days following auction close. No cash payments. Current commission rates will be listed on your consignment form. Your signature is contract binding.

 

Rochester Online Auction is Not responsible for accidents/Personal Injury/Personal Property on the premises. Please watch your step and be sure to keep your items insured during the time that you leave them with us.

 

Rochester Online Auction cannot and will not guarantee internet or email service should there be a power outage, internet failure or server malfunction.
